Work Release
Work release is a privilege that can be granted by the court and authorized by the Sheriff. Some may not be granted work release due to the nature of their charges or past criminal history. An inmate sentenced on a drug related crime will not be allowed out on the work release program.
The inmate must read and sign the work release rules and understand that violation of these rules will result in possible termination of their work release privileges. Inmates must also pass a drug test and are subject to random testing while on work release.
Work release will be paid at a rate of $20.00 a day. They will also have to pay for a tether to be applied. These payments must be made in advance each day/week.
