Draft Iosco County Master Plan – Review Period

June 29, 2026

Iosco County has released the full draft of its Master Plan for the required 63-day public review period as required under the Michigan Planning Enabling Act.  The Planning Commission has completed its updates and recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize distribution of the draft for review by community members, local, county and regional governing entities, and utility and service providers.

The draft Master Plan is now available for public to read and provide comments.  After the 63-day review period concludes, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing before considering a recommendation to adopt the full Master Plan.

For the next 20 years, the Master Plan will be a guiding document for land use planning and capital improvements, and will be a source of demographic, environmental, and economic data for all of Iosco County’s communities.  Please review the draft and share your feedback.  For comments, please click this link.
